Musandam crosses the finish line 25 March 2009
on March 25th at 15:43:12 Local Time (11:43:12 GMT) Mohsin made history to become the first Arab to sail non-stop around the world, as Musandam crossed the finish line in Muscat in under 80 days.
Week 10: Back into the Northern Hemisphere18 March 2009
At 11:39:10 GMT on 17 March 2009, Musandam and crew inched across the equator and back into the north. Meanwhile back in Muscat the excitement is building as Mohsin draws closer to home and closer to being the first Arab to sail round the world non-stop.

Hobie 16 National Championships
The weekend of the 1st-2nd October saw the Oman Hobie 16 National Championships taking place in the warm waters off Muscat. Three Oman Sail boats took part with Omani crews from the Academy.
Indian Ocean 5 Capes Race
The growth of competitive sailing in the Arabian Gulf and Indian Ocean is taking a further step forward as the sailing events company, OC Events (Asia), in association with Oman Sail launchesa new premier race, the 5 Capes of the Indian Ocean Race.
Young Learners Meet Young Sailors
On Wednesday the 29th, Oman Sail visited the British Council and gave some of the Young Learners an idea of life at sea.
